Lead-teacher Mat Pilates Teacher Training
Hi there, I’m Galo.
I discovered Pilates in 2019 as a PLTS member and quickly fell in love with the transformative power of the Reformer. What started as a workout soon became a way to stay balanced in both body and mind. This passion led me to become a certified Pilates instructor and breathwork facilitator, combining movement and mindfulness to help others build strength, resilience, and awareness.
Breathwork has always been my anchor — a simple yet powerful tool to navigate stress, reconnect with myself, and remember our shared interconnectedness. Alongside Pilates, I draw from diverse experiences — from equestrian show jumping to my work as a project manager for a Human Rights NGO in Amsterdam. These experiences shape how I teach, motivate, and connect with people. What I value most is witnessing those moments when someone discovers strength, compassion, or hope in the process, and realizes that movement and breath can open the door to deeper connection — with themselves, with others, and with life.
I’m excited to have created this Pilates Teacher Training as a way to bring together everything I’ve learned and loved. It’s about balancing hard content — the what to teach — with supple content — the how to teach. My aim is to create a space where knowledge, movement, and discovery meet.

What to expect?
A hands-on, supportive learning space that balances Hard Content (functional anatomy, exercise repertoire) and Supple Content (how to teach). A soft, reflective journey of discovery into your own body and the pilates practice through words and movement.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our Pilates training not only builds technical knowledge but also supports your personal development. You’ll learn to be more present in your own body and discover how to combine strength, suppleness, and intention in your practice.
Together, we explore how you can move and show up authentically, as a teacher or as a participant. This helps you share with confidence what you have to offer and connect with yourself and others.
Whether your goal is to teach or simply to deepen your own practice, the training offers insights, experiences, and tools that you can carry with you, in Pilates and beyond.
