Discover the secret of a light, effortless, graceful yoga practice that allows you to float and fly in this playful Empowered Yoga workshop that explores Mula and Uddiyana Bandha, the master keys to strength and stability.

Kat will introduce you to the concept of the energetic locks or seals known as bandha’s within the body and reveal their hidden qualities that empower you to move with more comfort and confidence, while developing steadiness of mind and sensitivity.

We’ll discuss the impact they have on your posture, core integrity and the role they can play in protecting you from injury during.

There will be a short, easy to understand explanation about the subtle body, through the eyes of yoga and Ayurveda, and we’ll learn about the energetic pathways that carry Prana, life’s vital force and

The Empowered Yoga Series is intended to deconstruct elements of yoga so you can discover the tools that will take you deeper and develop the strength, stability and focus needed to grow in practice safely. Workshops can be taken separately or booked together.

This workshop will consist of explorative exercises and practices to help to connect and activate Mula and Uddiyana Bandha, as well as a therapeutically orientated yoga sequence intended to develop core stability.

I am not married to one method, teacher or philosophy, instead I look at my students and aim to offer them an experience that is meaningful, relevant and available both on and off the mat.
