Ori knows how to create a space for expression and connection, where you dare to play and interact through the sound of the moment, (re)discovering your unique voice, exploring non-verbal intimacy and vocal freedom, embraced by the power of the group.

 

About the workshop

In this 3-day workshop we will practice improvisation and creative flow, experience the joy of communication through sound, voice and rhythm and develop the awareness needed to create music with a soul. The result is a playful as well as a transformative journey.

Ori Lavi is an Israeli musician, therapist and group facilitator. A solo artist, drummer and founding member of the group Orot (with Orka and Uria Tsur). He studied and lived in Berlin and Bilbao where he developed his Comusication-workshops and brings them around the world since 2012. No musical knowledge or experience needed (yet highly recommended for musicians).

No musical instruments. English spoken. We end the weekend with an alternative singing circle/voice jam, open for all your friends!

 

Practical Info

The workshop will be at Yogaschool Noord NDSM, Plotterstraat 24 (googlemaps Plotterstraat 13), 1033 RX Amsterdam Noord. Free parking.

 

FRIDAY: we expect you at 5 pm: payments & landing.

Start workshop at 6 pm, until 9 pm

SATURDAY: we work from 1 - 7 pm (one hour break)

SUNDAY: we work from 2 - 6 pm. Then we prepare for the evening gathering.

between 8 – 10 pm we will end the weekend with a big alternative singing circle/vocal jam/improvisation. Invite your friends (donation based).

NOTE: for all ticket-categories you pay € 80 now to ensure your place. The rest will be payed at the beginning of the workshop.

REFUND: if for whatever reason the workshop is canceled, we will refund the deposit.

If you are not able to attend the workshop, there is no refund possible! You can sell your ticket to somebody else. Please let us know.
